Did you get that "Big fancy camera" as a gift

but have no idea where to start?

Start feeling more confident behind the camera so you can capture your child’s smile while they play outside or document beautiful landscapes as you travel.

It’s easy to grab your phone and never touch that image again as it gets buried in the abyss of screenshots and other random stuff on your phone…

With this class I can make your experience with your DSLR camera enjoyable where you can’t wait to edit AND frame that photo for everyone to see!

Tools you’ll be learning

This training will go over 3 important tools to help you successfully take a photo.

After the class you’ll have access to the class presentation and a few helpful links!

Lighting

You wouldn’t believe how important lighting is for a photo! It’s the very first thing I am aware of before I even touch my camera settings. Lighting impacts how your photos look and feel. I will guide you on how to find beautiful lighting for indoor and outdoor situations..

Settings

We will go over the “Exposure Triangle” and the important key elements so you can feel more confident when you take that photo. This will give you a step-by-step process to remember each time you pick up your camera.

Intro into Lightroom

Once we learn how to take great photos IN camera… we’ll talk a little bit about Lightroom and how editing can give your photos that finishing touch! All you need to know is a few basic adjustments and you’ll be ready to export and print those photos!

What do I need to bring?

  • Your DSLR Camera

  • Charged batteries & a memory card (We’ll take some time at the end to test out your new skills!)

  • Laptop (not needed but helpful to follow along with Lightroom training)

  • An “I can do this!” attitude!

Meet Your Teacher

Hi! My name is Megan Vickery.

I have been photographing seniors, couples, families, and weddings since 2017. I started off as a Graphic Designer which gave me the skills to market and start my photography business. I have found so much joy in making people feel comfortable in front of the camera. The images I create are something they can look back on for a lifetime.

Throughout the years I have learned so much from trial and error with my camera. It would be my pleasure to share with you a little insight of what I have learned over the years.

One-on-one training $985
